The parcel is located in the Muse Community of Glades County, just north of the City of Labelle, and east of Fort Myers. The property is accessed from I-75 (Exit 141) via S.R. 80 (Palm Beach Blvd.) east to the Alva Bridge and S.R. 78 and north via Kirby Thompson Road to C.R. 720. From S.R. 80 in Labelle the property can be accessed via S.R. 29 north 1.5 miles, west and north on C.R. 731 for 2.5 miles to C.R. 720 (at the Fire Tower), and west and north 1.5 miles to the southeast property corner. |

The property is comprised of various types of vegetative cover. The proposed residential development area is clustered on approximately 180 acres of upland pasture. The remaining 131 acres preserve consists of both uplands and wetlands. The uplands are primarily oak hammocks with pine flatwoods and cabbage palms. The wetlands are a mix of forested, freshwater marsh and wet prairies. Pollywog Creek meanders through upland and wetland portions of the preserve. The property also has a 10 acre upland parcel located in the southeast corner, separated from the residential area, which is a mixture of palmetto prairie and oaks.
